Privacy notice
How AJPE handles personal data, including children’s data. Last updated October 2026.
1. Controller
Magellan Global, through the entity named in your engagement letter, is the data user for personal data processed through ajpe.com and AJPE’s services, under the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance (Cap. 486) and other applicable law. Requests: privacy@ajpe.com.
2. What we collect
Parents’ contact details and the information you give us about your family’s plans; where you engage us, children’s names, dates of birth, school reports, assessments, activity records and, for programmes, health and dietary information needed for safe participation; transaction information for introductions; website usage data.
3. Children
We collect children’s data only from their parents or guardians and only for the engaged service. We do not market to children. Sensitive information for programmes (health, dietary, safeguarding) is shared only with the provider and supervising adults who need it.
4. Purposes
Providing advisory, introduction and programme services; communicating with schools, clubs and providers on your instruction; meeting legal obligations; and, with consent, sending you our occasional notes on admissions and programmes.
5. Sharing
With schools, clubs and providers only on your instruction; with service providers (hosting, e-mail, forms) under contract; with the other party to an introduction to the extent needed to complete it; and where the law requires. We do not sell personal data.
6. Transfers
Because our families and destinations span several countries, data may be transferred to and processed in Hong Kong, Singapore, Japan, the United States, Australia and New Zealand, with appropriate safeguards.
7. Retention
Engagement files are kept for seven years after the engagement ends for legal and professional reasons, then deleted; enquiry data is kept for two years.
8. Your rights
You may request access to and correction of personal data, withdraw consent to marketing, and complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner for Personal Data or your local authority.

ajpe.com uses only strictly necessary cookies and privacy-respecting analytics without cross-site tracking.
