Hong Kong club memberships
Introducing agent for the secondary market in Hong Kong private club memberships, with the child’s sport in view. Twenty-two clubs, indicative references for every class, and a process that keeps the club’s rules in charge.
Why a club is an education decision
Hong Kong’s junior rugby, hockey, cricket, sailing, tennis and golf run through member clubs. The membership is the door to the coaching.
Admissions readers in Hong Kong, Singapore and the United States look for sustained sport with progression. In Hong Kong the squads that provide it are mostly at the Football Club, the Cricket Clubs, the Yacht Club, Aberdeen Boat Club, the golf clubs and the country clubs. A corporate or individual membership bought on the secondary market is often the practical route in, and its price should be weighed as part of the education budget, alongside the school fee and any capital instrument.
AJPE acts as an introducing agent between sellers and buyers (and lessors and lessees, where a club allows rental). We do not hold inventory, do not set prices and do not take title. Every transfer happens under the club’s own rules, approval process and fee schedule.
How a transfer works
Brief
The sport, the people who will use it, the budget, and whether an individual, corporate or rental arrangement suits the family and its company.
Confirm the rules
We obtain the club’s current transfer policy, nominee terms, entrance and transfer fees, subscriptions and any waiting period, in writing, before anyone commits.
Match
Introduction to a seller or buyer at a price agreed between the parties, with AJPE’s commission disclosed to both sides.
Approval
The club interviews and approves the incoming member. Approval is the club’s decision alone; no fee is earned until it is given.
Completion
Transfer documents, settlement of price and club fees through the club or a solicitor as the club requires, and the new member’s induction.
Afterwards
Squad enrolment, coaching introductions and the first entries in the child’s activity portfolio.
Indicative references
Club issue price is the price for a new membership where the club publishes one; the secondary reference is the level at which recent transfers have been indicated; rental is a monthly figure where a club permits it.

Indicative references compiled from the KC Consultants published Hong Kong price list, checked October 2026, and rewritten with AJPE’s notes on junior sport. They are not offers and not AJPE inventory. Prices move with supply and demand; transfer fees, entrance fees, subscriptions and levies set by each club are additional. We confirm live availability and terms before any introduction.
