The activity portfolio
Schools do not count activities; they read for depth. The portfolio turns sport, service and certificates into a record an admissions reader can trust.
What it is
A dated record of training, certificates, competitions, coaching roles and service, with coach references and the child's own reflections, kept from age eight onward and shaped for each application.
What goes in
Sailing and ski certificates; club squad participation (rugby, hockey, cricket, tennis, golf, swimming, rowing); music and arts examinations; The Hong Kong Award for Young People or The Duke of Edinburgh's International Award; service with real responsibility.
What stays out
Padding. One sustained pursuit with progression and a leadership role is worth more than six short courses.
